Left Coast Love soap
$9.00A popular soap in our Connection & Belonging family among locals and west coast lovers, this one is made with windfall Douglas fir branches, our own spearmint, and lemon peel that we dry and grate by hand. It’s a celebration of the west (aka, left) coast from the Douglas fir and mints in the north to the lemons and citrus of the south. May you recognize yourself and others as blessings in this place and notice the wonder within you in the presence of all coastal forests, fields, beaches, waters, & peoples.
Storage and life of the bar: To extend the life of the bar, store it where it can dry quickly after use and where it doesn't get regular water spray. Setting it on a folded washcloth or beautiful soap rest is a great idea.
Size: The bars are roughly 4 ounces. They're made by hand in small batches and hand cut by cool women, not machines. This means most 4-ounce bars are 4 ounces but they can range from 3.9 to 4.3 ounces. We're not machines, people, nor do we want to be. :-) We keep anything smaller than that for ourselves and our families, to give as gifts at our makers markets and to neighbors in need and to those amazing humans who help make homes for the unhomed on Whidbey, and to give away as surprises and free samples for people who buy our products.
Ingredients: Whidbey windfall Douglas fir branches and grown-at-Ritual Mischief spearmint infused into olive oil (a blend of organic and trusted non organic), plus organic coconut oil, shea butter, castor oil, distilled water, sodium hydroxide, sodium lactate, pinch of sea clay, dried lemon peel (which we dry and grind by hand), lemon and fir essential oils.
