Joint Pain Soother salve
$18.00We made this offering at the request of neighbors and friends. Finally, folks, here it is! Made with trusted fresh local plants and herbs--that we grew and hand gathered on land we love--to soothe occaisional joint discomfort, pain, and inflammation caused by injuries, sprains and strains, overuse or lack of use of muscles, or heavy physical activity. Visit your doctor, nurse practitioner, naturopath, and/or clinical herbalist whenever pain persists precious people!
To use: Apply to sore joints using clean fingers, one to three times a day, as needed. Stop using if your skin doesn't like the plants in this salve. Visit your health care professional if pain persists.
Ingredients: Olive oil infused with local goldenrod (Solidago), self-heal (Prunella vulgaris), stinging nettles (Urtica dioica), rosemary (Salvia rosmarinus), black cottonwood buds (Populus balsamifera ssp. trichocarpa), and calendula (Calendula officinalis), local beeswax, plus peppermint (2 drops per tin) and rosemary (2 drop per tin) essential oils.
Relationships and sourcing: We work as grateful learners and partners with local plants, flowers, lichens, herbs, forests, and fields who we consider kin, elders, and friends. The plants in this offering were either grown here at Ritual Mischief or ethically gathered on friends' trusted lands--by us--on Whidbey Island and surrounding areas. We receive local beeswax from Hive Harvest on the Olympic Peninsula and Maya Farm here on Whidbey and a tiny bit from Brambleberry located in Bellingham, WA.
