Rose Petal Tea shaving soap
$5.00 $9.00This shaving soap was made with Whidbey rose petal tea because Gina wanted a shaving soap that "Doesn't make me smell like a dude." :-) It lives in our Comfort & Support emotional support family. A bunch of people asked us for shaving soaps last year, so soap-maker extraordinaire Gina started experimenting. She landed on two new extra-lathery shaving soaps, which she loves! Let us know if you like them, and if so, we may make more! The other shaving soap is called Lavender, Fir & Cedar shaving soap and it lives in our Rest & Recharge family.
To use: Either rub the soap into wet hands & then rub hands together until desired lather forms or use a wet shaving brush on the soap to make lather. Apply the lather to your skin & shave with your favorite razor. Add water to make more lather.
Storage and life of the bar: To extend the life of the shaving bar, store it where it can dry quickly after use and where it doesn't get regular spray from a faucet. Setting it on a soap dish or folded wash cloth is a great idea.
Size: The bars are roughly 2.5 ounces. They're made in small batches and hand poured by a very cool and creative woman, not a machine.
Ingredients: Organic coconut oil, soy wax, shea butter, castor oil, rose & Kaolin clay, sodium hydroxide, Whidbey-grown rose petal tea, vitamin E, & rose essential oils.
Packaging: These special shaving soaps come in a paper bag with a paper label. Recyclable, compostable, and reusable. See the Packaging page of this website for more details.
